Please help by making a donation to the Hands to Honduras Program. We are very grateful, as your generosity makes our work possible. Checks may be made out to the Rotary Club of Charlotte-Shelburne (The Rotary Club has a tax-exempt charitable account which allows tax-free contributions to the fullest extent of the tax codes). All funds are applied directly to Hands to Honduras Tela projects.

Larger donations for full or large parts of projects are being sought. Such contributions will be recognized (with the donors’ permission) with plaques on the facilities being built or repaired. Public recognition may also be made in press releases with donors’ permission. Contributions larger than $1,000 will normally fall within the above categories. Smaller sums will be parceled out among the other projects.

Volunteers are welcome to join the two trips to Tela, Honduras January 22 – January 30 and January 30 - February 7, 2007. Volunteer teams will be assigned to various tasks ranging from masonry, painting, and building and repairing schools. Transportation, lodging, and subsistence are paid by each volunteer although the program leaders will attempt to obtain the most favorable rates possible for all expense categories.
