“John F. Kennedy”, Centro de Educación Básica (600 students)

  • Four classrooms completely rewired, exterior lighting installed
  • Exterior security block wall with gate constructed
  • All desks painted
  • New ceilings completed in four classrooms
  • Computer lab and kitchen started but not completed (materials to finish provided)
  • 10 computers delivered (in addition to two computers given previous year)
  • Three fans provided for the computer lab
  • Materials purchased to build a basketball court
  • Library books, medicines, school supplies, dental supplies, beanie babies, and other items distributed
  • Two library book shelves donated
  • One television/VCR donated
  • Art classes conducted during project for dozens of children

“Esteban Guardiola”, Triunfo de la Cruz (700 students)

  • All walls and blackboards painted
  • Large, expanded computer lab constructed, wired/rewired
  • Incredible looking and well-designed computer tables/benches constructed
  • 10 computers were delivered
  • Director’s office painted and rewired; bookshelves; old exterior window relocated
  • Basketball court lines on the repainted
  • Doors bought and hung on computer lab and one classroom
  • New roofing materials purchased to replace damaged areas
  • Materials purchased to replace old wrought iron windows
  • One television/VCR donated
  • Air conditioner for the computer lab donated
  • 2 library book shelves donated
  • Library books, medicines school supplies, dental supplies beanie babies ad other items distributed
  • School adopted by Interact students/Hopkinton, NH for kitchen appliances and a roof for a local community center

“La Ensenada”, Centro de Educación Básica (53 students)

  • Community hand well pump replaced with electric pump
  • Two latrines installed complete with running water
  • One book shelf donated
  • Two computers donated
  • Library books, medicines school supplies, dental supplies beanie babies ad other items distribute

"El Jazmin”, Centro de Educación Básica (50 students)

  • Four block walls completed on a 20x30 classroom and materials provided for completion
  • Library books, medicines school supplies, dental supplies beanie babies ad other items distributed
  • School adopted by a program at the Pat Hannaford Career Center/Middlebury and Interact Club/Waterbury
