Six volunteer physical therapists treated 33 children and the children averaged about 4-5 visits each during the period. A complete file and set of goals was developed for each child. The therapists also provided technical training for the in-house staff. The smiles of the children, when they discovered what they could do when being treated, was an experience beyond description. Several children walked for the first time when using the hand-made donated parallel bars!
