The dental team saw and evaluated 150 patients extracted over 250 teeth during their week stay in Tela. They were assisted by several H2H-Tela volunteers. The need was great and the time to treat was limited. There was an incredible amount of tooth decay in so many people. We believe that soda is one of the biggest culprits.
Dental Puppet Theater: The Spanish Puppet Theater, developed by two H2H-Tela volunteers, was creatively designed to teach children the importance of a good tooth brushing routine.
