The
Challenge
Poverty-stricken
village
children
are
unable
to
utilize
the
classrooms
at
the
rural
school
due
to
extensive
roof
leaks
and
rotting
windows.
The
children
are
unable
to
attend
school
during
times
of
rain.
There
has
been
no
regular
maintenance
at
the
school
in
the
last
twenty
years
because
of
lack
of
funds.

Project
Thoughts
and
Considerations
“With
a
new
roof,
the
children
will
not
be
exposed
to
the
rain
and
hot
sun.”
The
completion
of
this
project
will
allow
the
children
to
attend
school
during
the
heavy
rainy
season.
This
project
was
submitted
by
a
local
TV
station
which
has
been
very
supportive
to
the
Hands
to
Honduras
projects.
The
station
has
provided
immeasurable
help
in
publicizing
the
positive
outcomes
of
past
projects.
